Lum Kok Kiong is the founder and principal of Messrs Lum Kok Kiong & Co. Prior to establishing his firm, he practiced at Shook Lin & Bok, one of the largest legal firms in Malaysia.
Kok Kiong possesses extensive trial and appellate experience across all levels of courts in Malaysia. He served as the lead counsel in the landmark Federal Court case of Remeggious Krishnan v SKS Southern Sdn Bhd [2023] 3 MLJ 1.
As an accomplished commercial litigator, Kok Kiong specializes in various areas, including company disputes, civil disputes, banking litigation, construction disputes, intellectual property disputes, and land acquisition proceedings. Caroline Lim Seah Le holds an LLB (Hons) degree from the University of London and was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya on January 11, 2018.
With over seven years of post-qualification experience, Caroline has developed a robust civil litigation practice. She possesses extensive experience across a wide range of disputes, including contractual and commercial matters, debt recovery, construction disputes (including adjudication proceedings under the Construction Industry Payment and Adjudication Act (CIPAA) 2012) as well as land and tenancy disputes.
Caroline’s litigation background is comprehensive, having managed cases at all tiers of the Malaysian judiciary. She regularly appears in hearings and trials before the Subordinate Courts and the High Courts, and has contributed to various Appellate Court matters, affording her a holistic understanding of the litigation process.
She leverages strategic acumen and rigorous preparation to build compelling cases for her clients and is dedicated to providing effective and practical legal solutions to navigate complex legal challenges with a focus on achieving favourable results.
Chai Zhi Yong graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2021 with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and went on to complete his Certificate in Legal Practice (CLP) in 2023. Subsequently, he commenced his pupillage at Y S Ling & Co, where he gained practical exposure to both civil and criminal litigation. He was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya on 17 January 2025.
In August 2025, Zhi Yong joined Lum Kok Kiong & Co as an associate under the mentorship of Mr. Lum Kok Kiong. His current practice focuses on commercial disputes, intellectual property claims, and contractual matters. He prepares his cases carefully and deals with matters from first instance to appeal. He aims for clear, practical results for clients, backed by commercially-sensible strategies tailored to the case.

Amir Harith Bin Mohd Noor is a is a graduate of the Faculty of Law, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), where he obtained his Bachelor of Laws (Hons). Nor Sofia has been serving as the Office Manager at Messrs Lum Kok Kiong & Co. since 2021. She brings 12 years of experience as an Account Assistant and administrative professional in the legal industry of Malaysia.
Her responsibilities include managing the office’s daily operations, overseeing administrative tasks, and handling accounting duties to ensure efficiency and compliance in the legal sector.
