Lum Kok Kiong is the founder and principal of Messrs Lum Kok Kiong & Co. Prior to establishing his firm, he practiced at Shook Lin & Bok, one of the largest legal firms in Malaysia.
Kok Kiong possesses extensive trial and appellate experience across all levels of courts in Malaysia. He served as the lead counsel in the landmark Federal Court case of Remeggious Krishnan v SKS Southern Sdn Bhd [2023] 3 MLJ 1.
As an accomplished commercial litigator, Kok Kiong specializes in various areas, including company disputes, civil disputes, banking litigation, construction disputes, intellectual property disputes, and land acquisition proceedings. He is also deeply committed to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) issues.
